Operations monitoring is a key factor in effectively dealing with alarms and faults. The alarms mean we can quickly begin to locate the fault from the office, and we are often able to get the wind turbine working via remote manoeuvres.
If further action is required, we discuss the options with the operations manager or owner. Operations monitoring also puts us in a good position to get a service team out to the wind turbine quickly when required.
